Dr. Brawer has written a most impressive little book. The book is part Torah Science and he comes from the perspective of a professor of cell biology and as a Torah scholar. Such a background is essential in bringing the Jewish message to the world now influenced irrationally by a closed-minded scientific establishment. The Torah view of existence is fundamental understanding for all Jews and there is clear limits of the standard Something from Something perspective. Dr. Brawer tells a tale of how he became a reluctant writer. Now that he has writen something, we can only hope that he continues to listen to the Rebbe and writes some more. I will surely buy whatever he publishes and I heartily recommend this little appetizer for any Jew.
